Ateca is a specialist executive search firm focused on private banking, wealth management, and family office hiring. We are structured as a senior-led boutique, with licensed entities in the jurisdictions where our clients book and hire, and an operating model designed around the confidentiality and regulatory requirements of the private wealth industry.
Our Approach
We take a limited number of retained mandates at any one time. Each mandate is led personally by a senior partner. Research is conducted systematically and internally rather than outsourced. Our cadence, our data handling, and our external communications are all calibrated to the discretion that private banking work requires.
We believe this is the right model for the sector. Private banking clients are not best served by volume-driven search houses, and senior private banking candidates are best represented by search firms that understand the commercial and regulatory texture of their careers.
Our Origins
Ateca was founded as a technology recruitment and management consulting business and has, over a deliberate series of strategic pivots, concentrated around executive search for private banking and private wealth. Historic capabilities in technology recruitment, infrastructure, and engineering remain available through the wider Ateca Group but do not form part of the executive search business.
Our Group
Ateca Consulting Ltd is the principal executive search entity of the Ateca Group. The Group also comprises British Marine Engineering CY Ltd and other specialist entities. The Group’s executive search brand operates independently of its engineering capability, and clients of each are served separately.
